He is liberated from the paths of the three times. He has opened his awareness to objects of knowledge. He has destroyed the sleep of ignorance. Therefore, a Buddha is expansive, like a lotus. One who has cut through the sleep of ignorance and has seen the emergent perfect wisdom is a Buddha, like a person who has awakened from sleep.
