Even though we may be prepared to share our love and respect whole-heartedly with others, we have to be very certain that we are doing it skilfully, and are not creating discomfort for others. Otherwise, we may annoy others because of our unskilful actions. It is always wise to think deep within us before we act. Check and ask oneself whether this action is going to bring happiness or suffering? Because once we act, our actions are going to bring either happiness or pain and most of the time, we tend to end up with more misery than joy. Therefore, to save all the troubles for ourselves and others, it is much wiser and more meaningful to contemplate before we act.
