The truth is what sets us free. When we see the truth directly — not just a hunch, or through a blind faith, or even through being smart in the regular sense, but through awakened wisdom, a knowing that is beyond all stains or blocks — then we are home; we awaken the Buddha within us; we have the realised Dharma. The Dharma means the Buddha’s dispensation of teachings and practices, and the truth of the way things really are, which the Buddha pointed out, the seeing of which liberates us from all suffering.
